NIKE SHE RUNS 5K

no, i did not run! hahahah! volunteered for it with michelle cause we did not have the stamina.
but im planning to run next year!! got to train up!!!!

so, we were told to reach gardens by the bay by 12noon and that there was going to be shutter services from 11am-1pm. so here's us on the shutter bus!

 by the time we reached, it was already 12 plus. and then we were told to wait, because they were ready. so okay we waited for at least half an hour. we were already perspiring!
then we were told to sign in and take our volunteer's tee to change into! and we were told to wait again!  seriously, it was really disorganized and inefficient.

finally at about 4pm, we got stationed at the route towards the starting pen and we got a beautiful view! 

some of the runners came as early at 4pm when the race starts ar 6pm! ohmy. super entu!!
because our job was really simple, me and michelle was like slacking most of the time, talking and singing, eating,drinking and disturbing each other. hahaha love this girl.

kids. who would have guessed we are 19 already. 

by about 7pm, the starting pen was closed, and we were moved to the finishing area to take care of the queue at the hot dog booth. zzz some singaporeans are just so stubborn man.

it was really a pity we did not get a chance to explore the place, cause it was really cool!!! there was free 100plus, bananas, ice creams, photo booths with super long queues, a VIP lounge (can even do manicures there!), and there is even a massage booth!!! oh there was a live band too, wished they sang more popular songs though... utt was there too!

and yay! met joelle avril viviany and miss low there too!!!

#teamburden! 

though it was rather tirring, (because we spent lots of time waiting)
i'm glad i volunteered for this! because i met many new friends!! super nice and friendly people!! am looking forward to participating in the race next year!!! ^^
